William A. NogueraWilliam A. Noguera spent 40 years on death row at the notorious San Quentin Prison, until 2022, when his conviction and sentence were reversed. He is a renowned and award-winning author, painter, speaker, co-host of Death Row Diaries True Crime Podcast, and the author of Escape Artist: Memoir of A Visionary Artist On Death Row (Seven Stories Press 2018). During his time on death row, Mr. Noguera re-defined what we know of the methods, traits, and reasonings of serial killers. Living among, and unbeknownst to them, he studied, researched, and compiled an extraordinary archive of information never considered, or seen. He has achieved what very few others ever have: acceptance into the fraternity of the world’s deadliest predators who learn to trust him with their secrets.
His new soon-to-be-released true-crime book, Through the Lens of a Monster: A Serial Killer On Death Row, An Unsolved Murder List, And an Inmate’s Deadly Play for Redemption, solves five previously unknown serial killer murders and breaks the riddle of one of the world’s most prolific killers, raising the bar and re-defining what a true serial killer expert and profiler knows. This led to Mr. Noguera’s work with renowned Detective and FBI Investigator, Ken Mains, the creation of the YouTube channel series Unsolved No More: Redemption from Death Row, and a television series with Executive Producer Dick Wolf, due out in 2025. Incarcerated since 1983 and sentenced to death in 1988, Mr. Noguera has spent the decades since educating himself and making a difference in people's lives behind the walls of San Quentin and in the outside world through charitable contributions to organizations like the Breast Cancer Foundation and charities to benefit victims’ rights. Mr. Noguera has been the subject of more than forty articles in such publications as Forbes, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Guardian. His contribution to society extends to MBA programs throughout the country, wherein he lectures via telephone to classes about professional conduct and ethics, concentrating on prevention and intervention. His talks share a thought-provoking narrative of the realities of prison life, ethical responsibility, prison gangs and their culture, along with the ramifications of destructive behavior and the rewards of constructive rehabilitation. William Noguera is also a former Hapkido Middle Weight Champion. Represented by: Tessa Shaffer |
