Shauna Friesen

Shauna Friesen is a mountain climber, rock collector, skateboarder, world traveler, and queer author living in Los Angeles, California. She is a voracious reader and lover of gorgeous, gut-punching, and experimental prose.

When she isn’t writing, her penchant for high adrenaline has her canyoneering through waterfalls in the foothills near LA, rock climbing in the High Desert, and backpacking through the Eastern Sierras with her sister and dog.

Her short work has been featured or is forthcoming in Pithead Chapel, Chestnut Review, Foglifter Press, Flash Fiction Magazine, Fictive Dream, and Bruiser Magazine, among others.
