Linessa WheelerLinessa Wheeler lives in rural Virginia amongst fireflies and the Appalachian mountains. She shares her love of books with her community through her work as a Teen Services Librarian. Having grown up in a home that fostered her love and appreciation for literature, Linessa has long dreamed of supporting authors and uplifting diverse perspectives. Her work has been featured in university and fantasy magazines across the United States. When she has free time, she enjoys writing, studying archeology, and printmaking with the (not-so-much) help of her cats, Howl and Calcifer.
Linessa loves genre-twisting stories with in-depth characterization and memoirs that push the boundaries of form. She enjoys reading various genres, with a special interest in second-world speculative fiction, narrative nonfiction, and middle-grade contemporaries tackling important topics. Her favorite books use magical or surreal elements in partnership with explorations of the variance of human experience. |
