Emily Peppers was born and raised in picturesque Upstate New York with a menagerie of four-legged siblings. Her love for animals stems from her parents and the many rescues they've adopted over the years. From an early age, she also had a love of storytelling, especially anything involving lush forests and beautifully imagined worlds. She graduated from the State University of New York Brockport in 2020 with her bachelor's degree in biology. It was no surprise to her friends and family that she then went on to attend veterinary school at Midwestern University in Phoenix Arizona in 2021. Emily is currently a third year veterinary student and will graduate with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.
Emily is both neurodiverse and demisexual, making her a strong supporter for mental health and diversity in literature. She loves expressing herself through her characters and providing representation for those who may not see themselves in writing very often. In addition to writing and attending school, Emily also fosters kittens and is an avid hiker. In her personal time, you're likely to find her either outside with her two dogs, Wally and Esther, or snuggled on the couch with one of her five cats. Represented by:Marisa Corvisiero
