Dale Marie BryanDale Marie Bryan lives with her husband of nearly fifty years in a haunted Kansas farmhouse with a possible grave in the backyard. The mother of four and grandmother of five, she and her husband have a protective border collie, a fetch-a-holic corgi, and an opinionated cat.
A former elementary teacher, curriculum specialist, and assessment writer, she has published stories, poetry, craft ideas, and articles in Country Woman, Crafting Traditions, Reminisce, Pack-o-Fun, and Highlights for Kids, as well as books with Scholastic, ABDO, Heinemann, and others. Her short stories and poetry have also appeared in Rural Voices and Workers Write! Tales from the Classroom anthologies. Dale’s debut humorous middle-grade novel is based on her own experiences of losing a parent, loving a dachshund, and living a lifetime in quirky Kansas. When she is not writing she’s reading, gardening, trying something new, or spending time with family and friends. Read more about and by Dale on her website or her Substack—In Glasshalfull.
