Bianca GuarrasiBianca Guarrasi holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She is an active, agented writer and published book reviewer, with experience producing short films. Her plays have been produced in various New York City theaters and were finalists in competitions at Manhattan Repertory Theatre. Bianca regularly participates in writing workshops, offering critiques to help fellow writers strengthen and elevate their craft.
She gravitates toward epic and historical romance as well as literary fiction with vivid, natural settings. Bianca is drawn to family dramas, romantic comedies, dark comedies, dystopian, and urban fiction. She particularly enjoys stories with compelling characters, distinctive voices, and emotionally resonant, thought-provoking narratives. In nonfiction, she enjoys works on self-improvement, parenting, alternative education, and holistic health. Some of her favorite stories include The Prince of Tides, Into the Wilderness, The Patrick Melrose Novels, The Godfather, Cross Creek, Legends of the Fall, and The Coldest Winter Ever. She also enjoys reading Dr. Gabor Maté, Jonathan Haidt, John Taylor Gatto, and Dr. Chris Palmer. |

Your materials should include a strong and clear query letter, a one to two page synopsis and the first five pages of your manuscript. For picture books upload your full manuscript.
