AnneMarie Hogan

AnneMarie Hogan is a self-appointed pop-culture expert and lover of all dogs. A San Francisco Bay Area native, she has a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Fiction Writing from UC Santa Cruz. Her passion for books and writing came much earlier though.

As a child, her father gave her a dollar for every book she read one summer. Come September, she asked him to take her to the bookstore to use her earnings. It was a major shopping spree.

When she’s not writing humorous and emotional prose, AnneMarie spends her free time with her husband checking off an enormous bucket list of concerts. She can also be found visiting family in Northern Ireland, spoiling her geriatric poodle, Betty White, and making her infamous “Filthy McNasty,” more commonly known as a dirty martini.
