Thomas Rogers
Thomas has been in love with books ever since he can remember reading “Goodnight Moon” for the first time. Amongst the hustle and bustle of Long Island, New York, reading has long served as an escape from the noise, at least within his own mind. Hailing from New York, he attended Binghamton University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History. Combining his love of literature with his passion for raising up diverse voices, he seeks to assist authors in reaching their goals. When he isn’t at his local café with a book in his hand, Thomas can be found exploring the streets of New York City for his next big adventure, trying new cuisine to bolster his appetite for cooking (even if it doesn’t always turn out right), cozying up with some popcorn to watch a new television show, or playing with his two biggest fans: golden retrievers Gertie and Goldie.
Thomas enjoys a wide range of genres and will read almost anything that comes his way, though he is particularly interested in horror, mystery/thrillers, historical fiction, science-fiction, memoirs, and all things fantasy related- urban fantasy, epic fantasy, high fantasy, historical fantasy, and most things in between. Some things Thomas particularly loves within the works he reads include heavy world building, magic systems that have a strict set of rules, characters that are not defined by the traditional boundaries of good or evil, twist filled plots, and a focus on a diverse set of characters with complex character building that amplifies beautiful diversity (especially in the LGBTQIA+ community). He has a particular interest in YA and Adult novels and is not so interested in Children’s books. |
