Rosie Pova is a native Bulgarian. She immigrated to North America as an adult and lived in Canada before moving to the United States which she now calls home. English is her fourth language--after Bulgarian, Russian, and French--but after almost twenty years in North America, it has now taken predominance.
Rosie currently lives in Texas with her husband and three children.
Besides being a mom and a wife, Rosie is a prolific picture book writer, a novelist and a poet. She likes French cuisine, luxury beach vacations, coffee, good wine, and rainy days.
Most days, Rosie's busy life as a mom and a family business co-owner interferes with her writing time and daydreaming, but she's found a way to make up for that by ignoring most household chores and allowing her children to watch too much TV.
Her long journey as a writer has thought her that--to use a quote she read on Facebook--what doesn't kill you gives you a bunch of unhealthy coping mechanisms and a very dark sense of humor.
She's well now. Godspeed!
Random fact: There isn't a single piece of proof to confirm that Rosie has ever belted out to Adele's songs in the car, therefore one can only speculate that has ever happened.
