Michelle Romano is the Literary Intern at the Corvisiero Literary Agency; she looks at queries, evaluates them, and helps with the representation process. Before she joined our company, she did two jobs while attending school. She worked as a host for Tully’s Good Times maintaining a clean and organized front of the house environment, greeted guest in a timely and friendly manner and Steak and Shake where ensuring that the guest receive their orders correctly and in a timely fashion. Handle the taking of payment. Michelle also did volunteer work at events like Ryan Run in Scranton, Pa where she was assisting with fundraising an event benefitting Allied Services by directing traffic and providing personal assistance.
Miss Romano is a senior at Keystone College, studying to receive her bachelor’s degree in Business/Hospitality and minor in Event Planning. At Keystone College, she has been the Public Relations Officer for two years in the Hospitality Club. She oversees getting the word out about the events the club is hosting. For example, using social media platforms to promote their annual Cupcake Challenge. Her goals after college are to go out into the world and help other people. Her dream job would be to help organize and plan fundraisers and work on the traveling details for Non-Profits like Red Cross or for our military.
Beside going to school and working, she finds some free time to get some reading done. Depending on the day, she likes to read murder mystery, young adult fantasy, and teen drama. Her favorite authors are Agatha Christie, Stephen King, R.L. Stine and Stephenie Meyer. Some of the favorite book series are Twilight, Goosebumps, and The Hunger Games.
