Melina Botello

Melina Botello is a born-and-raised Austinite who lives with her two small yet vocally ambitious dogs. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Government, she earned her Master’s from the LBJ School of Public Affairs. She now channels her analytical energy into her writing and creating believable characters with depth and humor. When she’s not hunched over her keyboard or lost in a book, she enjoys binge-watching her favorite comfort shows, touring local vineyards, bringing her family together for lotería nights, and curating oddly specific playlists that she’ll only listen to once.
