Mackenzie TremaineAs an honors student at the University of Southern California, Mackenzie is studying both creative writing and psychology. Her free time is divided between conducting neuroimaging research and taking down her never-ending TBR, both of which have instilled in her a strong conviction that storytelling fosters empathy. More often than not, Mackenzie is lost in the pages of a fantasy, science fiction, or mystery novel. She adores romantic subplots within high-stakes stories and female protagonists whose strength lies in their compassion and relatability. When she's not nose-deep in a book at home, she is likely to be found reading on her Kindle at a coffee shop, on the treadmill, or while waiting in impossibly long lines at Disneyland.
