Issie Patterson is a writer and high school French and Drama teacher living in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous publications. She is a co-founder and former arts editor of the Lunenburg Barnacle, a community newspaper, as well as a co-founder and co-coordinator of the Lunenburg County Community Orchestra. She is a recent recipient of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union Innovation in Education award. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia.
