Hailey Spencer

Hailey Spencer is, in the words of her wife Elizabeth, an absolute cloud of a girl. She is obsessed with fairy tales and has an equally passionate rivalry with ants. After participating in their 2022 publication cohort, she became a guest editor at First Matter Press in winter of 2023, and was elected to the board as a lead editor in fall of 2023. She is the author of the poetry collections Stories for When the Wolves Arrive and Out of Love in Spring. She lives and writes in Seattle, Washington.
