Erin Williams
Erin Williams is a queer, Black ex-military brat who first learned how to entertain by creating operatic dramas for a rotating cast of sapphic Barbies. She writes about marginalized people who overcome systems of oppression and their personal demons while maintaining their sense of humor. Her television pilot APOCALYPSE NEWS, inspired by her background in journalism and her upbringing in a Southern Baptist family, was a second-round pick in the 2021 Austin Film Festival. Her pilot CALYPSO, a feminist reimagining of The Odyssey, was a semifinalist in the 2024 Cinestory TV writing competition. A proud member of Harvardwood, Erin lives, laughs, and watches a lot of reality television in Long Beach, California with Biscuit the miniature poodle.
