Emma Fleet
Emma is from Wakefield, MA and now lives in New York City. She completed her BA in English at Boston College and her MS in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University. Her academic work focuses on the intersection of children's literature and medical humanities; her undergraduate honors thesis studied chronic illness representation in contemporary YA fiction. She grew up as an avid reader obsessed with everything from The Baby-Sitters Club to A Series of Unfortunate Events, and now has a particular interest in fairytales and Gothic fiction. When not reading or writing, she can be found coaching figure skating, searching for the perfect caramel latte, and exploring Manhattan's many bookstores.
