Emily Spahrmann

A graduate of American University's Business & Entertainment program with a concentration in Agency, Emily has always loved the arts -- ballet, musical theatre, orchestra, literature -- but it wasn't until late in college and an internship with Penguin Random House that she realized her path lies with books. At Corvisiero, Emily aims to understand and help achieve the goals of both the agents and the authors.

Emily's favorite book genres are historical fiction (early 19th century through mid-20th century -- think Pride and Prejudice to Where the Crawdads Sing), a good romance plot with complex characters (The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo or The Art of Hearing Heartbeats), or an interesting memoir/biography. Aside from reading, Emily loves watching old movies, listening to Broadway musicals, or taking way too many pictures of her dog, Bonnie.
