Emily O'Malley Liu 

Emily O'Malley Liu grew up in Palm Beach County, Florida and has lived in the American Southwest, the Midwest, New England, and Japan. She currently resides in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area with her husband and three absolutely ungovernable kids.

Her short fiction has appeared in numerous venues, including Fireside, Analog SFF, and the Drabblecast. An excerpt from her forthcoming novella THE MAN IN THE GARDEN HOUSE (2026 Shiraki Press) won second-prize in Uncharted Magazine's Fall 2022 novel excerpt contest. When not writing or wrangling small beasts, Em enjoys ringing handbells and sampling craft beer (not at the same time).
