Dee Grachek

Dee Grachek's work explores the transformative power of authenticity, grace, and hope. Blending compelling storytelling with lived theology, she writes for readers who have wrestled with faith, questioned where they belong, or longed to discover that they are loved exactly as they are.

After nearly two decades in the financial industry, Dee answered a call to ministry, earning her Master of Divinity and serving as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Her ministry has taken her into hospital rooms, sanctuaries, boardrooms, and living rooms, where she has witnessed both the heartbreak and extraordinary resilience of the human spirit. 

As a transgender woman of faith, Dee brings a rare and deeply personal perspective to conversations about identity, belonging, forgiveness, and the courage to live authentically. Her books, ranging from memoir and theology to contemporary fiction, invite readers to encounter a God whose grace is larger than fear, whose love is stronger than shame, and whose hope endures even in life's darkest seasons.

Known for her honest voice, compassionate insight, and engaging storytelling, Dee challenges readers to rethink long-held assumptions while offering a vision of Christianity rooted in justice, inclusion, and radical love. Dee is the author of multiple works of theology, memoir, and fiction, including novels that weave together themes of healing, identity, and redemption.
