Danielle Hunter
Spending high school summer hours lost in video games, Danielle’s love for all things high fantasy began. Based in Seattle, Danielle is a senior at the University of Washington, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. She was born in Mannheim, Germany, but has lived in or visited countries like Japan, the Dominican Republic, and South Korea. Throughout her college career, she’s worked as a Marketing/Publicity intern for Overcup Press based in Oregon, worked as an editorial intern for a historical literary project, and has lingered for too long in the University of Washington’s Harry Potter reading room. She’s been reading since early elementary school and has a few personal projects of her own. When not reading or writing, she’s probably on the track. She’s a NCAA D1 athlete, a sprinter at her university. (Or she’s rewatching Arcane: League of Legends for the billionth time). She’s active in her Christian faith and is often playing gospel music.
Danielle’s favorite genres are Middle Grade and Young Adult high fantasy, low fantasy and all the fantasy in between. She dabbles a bit in mystery, thriller sci-fi, and dystopian, and loves anything with a romantic side plot. She also likes fictional contemporary wildlife survival standalones. She’s a sucker for found family, slow burn romances, sunshine/grumpy dynamics, and strong sibling relationships. |
