Craig Fitzpatrick is a tech entrepreneur, disabled veteran, father, and former member of the US Blind Hockey Team. By day, Craig leads teams of scientists solving some of the world’s hardest problems using quantum technology at Google spinoff SandoxAQ. In his free time, Craig is a Senior Technology Fellow at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies, where he very much enjoys giving bad people a bad day, by using AI to disrupt illicit networks such as wildlife traffickers and money launderers.
In his debut work, “Finding the Puck,” Craig explores the complicated process of becoming legally blind; overcoming his disability to learn to ice skate and play hockey; progressing in blind hockey all the way to the US National Team; and applying hockey’s lessons to work and life. Craig’s charitable work is focused on helping the growing sport of Blind Hockey become a Paralympic event by 2030, and the proceeds from his book will be donated to blind hockey’s international charity. Craig and his family split their time between Washington, DC and the Shenandoah River valley in Virginia. Represented by: Marisa Corvisiero and Tessa Shaffer |
