Celia CookCelia Cook (they/she) has been a writer for the last decade and is a recent graduate of Ball State University’s Creative Writing MA program, where she worked as the Assistant Director to the Creative Writing Director and was an intern at River Teeth: A Journal of Nonfiction Narrative. She was an essay reader for The Rumpus from 2022-2025 and is now the Images Editor for Beautiful Things. They have presented on panels at AwesomeCon, Practical Criticism Midwest, and NonfictionNow. Celia is currently busy writing two books, buying too many cardigans, and baking banana bread out in Baltimore. They love anything and everything writing wise, with a special fondness for genre-bending nonfiction, magical realism, and a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance, and anything queer. Some of her favorite writers are Helen Oyeyemi, Anne Carson, and Carmen Maria Machado! When they’re not reading, they’re watching KPop Demon Hunters, Arcane, Squid Games, and a number of whodunits.
