Adrienne Wenner - Literary Intern
Adrienne Wenner’s childhood summers were spent in her local library drinking in Goosebumps and dinosaur books. She began scribbling down stories in elementary school about leprechauns and art heists. Adrienne continued on to become an editor for her high school's paper. From there, she studied at Hofstra University where she earned a Bachelor's in Communications and Fine Arts. After college, Adrienne gained valuable experience in publishing at Folio Literary Management and Running Press.
In 2014, her first book, Pride Over Pity was published by Post Hill Press/Simon & Schuster. It is a New York Times Bestseller and is available in HC, PB, and audio. Beyond books, the epicenter of Adrienne’s world is music. She has traveled across the sea for her favorite bands, plays guitar, and also works in the concert venue industry.
In fiction, Adrienne’s taste gravitates towards mature YA and commercial adult work with a literary voice. She loves the dark and gloomy, dysfunctional families, and superb world-building. In non-fiction, she is interested in memoir and music. Her favorite author is Nick Hornby.
